The ABSOLUTE

The highest level of consciousness development is the non-dual Absolute, the highest God, the absolute Spirit and cosmic consciousness.

Nirvana and samsara are non-two here at this level.

The non-dual Absolute is both completely transcendent and completely immanent: it is the timeless beyond all time and at the same time also all time; it is the spaceless beyond space and at the same time also all space; it is the formless beyond all forms and at the same time also all form.

Accordingly, not only is every form actually emptiness, but the formless emptiness is at the same time also ultimately identical with all forms: Form is emptiness and emptiness is form.

The only illusion that actually has to be overcome is the feeling or idea of separateness from God. This illusion is also called maya. At the level of the non-dual Absolute, man sees through this illusion immediately: God is unceasingly one with everything—nothing was or is ever separate from God.

The Absolute is, on the one hand, the culmination and goal of man's development of consciousness and, on the other hand, also the origin and reality of all creation, the origin and reality, therefore, of all manifestations in the world of appearances.

At the highest level of consciousness development, the respective human being attains the highest enlightenment. He directly experiences the non-dual Absolute—and thus at the same time also the unity of emptiness with all forms. But while emptiness exists in eternal timelessness, this does not at all apply to the forms, i.e. to the individual manifestations within the world of appearances.
